How it decides
Your words are read locally. The studio's own rules set the score.
The assistant reads the message into facts: project type, scope, budget, timeline, property and ZIP code. The same rules that score the website estimate form then set the score, priority, tags and planning range, on the server.
Budget fit
The budget range is compared with where each project type starts: kitchens $45,000, bathrooms $25,000, basements $50,000, additions $120,000, whole homes $150,000. Below that, the lead is still welcome and tagged for a smaller-scope conversation.
Timeline
Starting in 3 to 6 months scores highest (time for design and permits), then within 3 months, then 6 to 12 months. Just exploring is tagged early planning.
Service area
ZIP codes in Alder Falls and the eight nearby neighborhoods score up; anything else is tagged outside area and capped at medium priority until someone confirms the address.
Completeness
Phone and email, a detailed description, two or more scope items, consultation times and existing drawings each add a few points.
High intent
Budget fit or close, a start inside six months and a home in the area: the lead is tagged high intent and the designer offers a consultation that week.
Rough planning range
Project type, size, scope items and the age of the home produce a planning range from past projects. It is shared as a range, never as a quote.
