01Classes

Seven formats, one reformer room

Every class runs 45 or 50 minutes with ten or twelve people, so the instructor can see everyone. Start with Foundations, then mix formats through the week.

01

Reformer Foundations

Beginner50 min12 spotsDrop-in $36 or 1 credit

SteadyIntensity 2 of 5

Where everyone starts. Springs, straps, footbar and headrest explained as you go, then the core sequence every other class builds on: footwork, bridging, rowing and side work. Slower pace, lighter springs and an instructor who sets up your reformer with you.

In class

  1. 1Reformer setup, springs and safety, explained once and then cued
  2. 2Footwork, bridging, rowing and side-lying series at a steady pace
  3. 3A short stretch and a note on which class to try next

Good if

You're new to the reformer, coming back after a break, or want to sharpen the basics.

Every week

Mon 7 AM, Mon 5 PM, Tue 7 AM, Tue 7:15 PM, Wed 7 AM, Thu 7 AM, Fri 9:30 AM, Sat 10:15 AM, Sun 11:30 AM

02

Reformer Flow

All levels50 min12 spotsDrop-in $36 or 1 credit

ModerateIntensity 3 of 5

Our signature full-body class. Movements link together with few breaks, moderate spring loads and a steady tempo, so you finish worked but not wrecked. Comfortable after about five Foundations classes.

In class

  1. 1Warm-up on the footbar straight into the first sequence
  2. 2Linked series for legs, core, arms and back with few breaks
  3. 3Standing work to finish, then a proper stretch

Good if

You've taken about five classes and want a full-body workout that keeps moving.

  2. 2Sitting box work for back and shoulders, light weights for the arms
  3. 3Glute series and a slow core finisher

Jumpboard Cardio

Intermediate45 min12 spotsDrop-in $36 or 1 credit

IntenseIntensity 5 of 5

The jumpboard clips onto the end of the reformer so you can jump lying down: interval rounds of low-impact jumping, then strength blocks between them. Music-driven and sweaty, with far less pounding than a run because you jump lying down.

In class

  1. 1Four jumping intervals lying down on the reformer
  2. 2Strength blocks between rounds so your heart rate settles
  3. 3A cool-down that stretches calves and hips

Good if

You want cardio without the impact of running, and a good playlist.

Every week

Mon 7:15 PM, Tue 8:15 AM, Wed 5 PM, Thu 8:15 AM, Fri 5 PM, Sat 11:30 AM

Taught by Dev

05

Tower

All levels50 min10 spotsDrop-in $36 or 1 credit

ModerateIntensity 3 of 5

Class on the tower frame of our ten combination reformers: push-through bar, roll-down bar and leg springs for spinal articulation, hamstring work and arm series you can't do on a flat reformer. Ten spots.

In class

  1. 1Roll-downs and push-through for spinal articulation
  2. 2Leg springs for hips and hamstrings
  3. 3Arm springs standing and kneeling

Good if

You want mobility work, spinal articulation and long, slow leg-spring series.

Mat

All levels45 min12 spotsDrop-in $36 or 1 credit

ModerateIntensity 3 of 5

Classical mat work with a ring and a small ball: the hundred, roll-ups, the series of five and the side kick series. No machine, so your own body weight does the work. A good second class of the week.

In class

  1. 1The hundred, roll-ups and the series of five
  2. 2Side kick series and back extension
  3. 3Ring and ball work, then a seated stretch

Good if

You want the classical repertoire, or a second class that travels anywhere.

Every week

Wed 8:15 AM, Fri 8:15 AM, Sat 12:45 PM, Sun 5 PM

  2. 2Leg and glute work with lighter springs, no long time on your back
