06FAQ
Before your first class
The questions we answer most at the front desk. The studio assistant uses these same answers, so the chat and this page always agree.
Getting started
I've never done reformer Pilates. Where do I start?
Book Reformer Foundations. It is taught at a slower pace, the instructor sets up your reformer with you, and it covers the springs, straps and core sequence every other class uses. Most people take three to five Foundations classes before moving to Flow. The Intro Three pack ($69 for three classes in 21 days) is made for this.
What should I wear and bring?
Fitted clothes you can move in (loose shorts catch on the carriage) and grip socks. We sell grip socks at the desk for $14 and lend a pair for your first class. Water bottles are welcome; we have a filtered water station.
How early should I arrive?
Ten minutes early for your first class so we can set your springs and show you around. After that, five minutes is plenty. Doors lock three minutes after class starts, so the room stays focused.
Booking and credits
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel up to 12 hours before class in the member portal and the credit goes back on your pass. Inside 12 hours, or if you miss class, the credit is used. Unlimited members don't lose a credit, so a late cancel or no-show carries a $15 fee instead.
How does the waitlist work?
When a class is full you can join its waitlist (up to five people). Nothing is used when you join. If someone cancels, the first person waiting with a valid pass is booked automatically and gets a text. If that happens inside the 12-hour window, you can still cancel for free because you didn't choose to book late.
How far ahead can I book?
Group classes open two weeks ahead, and a new day opens every morning. Private sessions can be booked up to three weeks ahead.
Which pass gets used when I book?
Unlimited plans first, then your monthly membership classes, then class packs, soonest to expire first. The booking screen shows which pass will be used and how many classes are left before you confirm.
Memberships and packs
Which is better, a pack or a membership?
Once a week, a Ten-class pack ($31 a class) is the best value. Twice a week, Forma 8 ($219 a month for eight classes) works out to about $27 a class. Three or more times a week, Forma Unlimited ($279 a month) is the cheapest per class. Drop-ins are $36.
Can I pause my membership?
Yes. Pause Forma 8 or Unlimited from the member portal (Membership, then Pause) or at the desk. Billing stops while it is paused, your remaining classes stay on your account, and you can resume any time.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, yourself in the member portal: Membership, then Switch plan. Moving up to Unlimited starts the same day with the extra classes added. Moving down to Forma 8 starts at your next renewal, so you keep what you paid for until then.
Do class packs expire?
Yes: Intro Three in 21 days, drop-ins in 30, the Five-class pack in 60 and the Ten-class pack in four months, counted from purchase. We send a reminder a week before a pack expires with classes left.
