What it is
Botox, in plain words.
Botox is a neuromodulator: a purified protein that relaxes the specific muscles behind expression lines, such as the forehead, the frown lines between the brows and the fine lines around the eyes.
At Luna, every Botox treatment starts with a consultation. Your provider watches how the lines form, asks what you would like to keep (most people want to look rested, not frozen) and recommends a unit range before anything is booked.
Treatments are described for a fictional studio. A licensed provider determines whether a treatment is right for you at the consultation. Nothing on this site is medical advice.

Planning

How long does a Botox appointment take?
About 30 minutes including a short numbing and review. The consultation is a separate 30-minute visit.
Will I look frozen?
The aim at Luna is a rested, natural look, and your provider will talk through the balance with you. Every face responds differently, so we plan conservatively and review at two weeks.
Is Botox right for me?
Only a licensed provider can answer that after reviewing your health history and goals. That is what the complimentary consultation is for.
