What it is
Microneedling, in plain words.
Microneedling uses fine, single-use needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin, followed by a calming serum and SPF. It is usually planned as a series rather than a single visit.
At your Skin Consultation, your provider looks at your skin, asks about recent treatments and sun, and recommends how many sessions to plan and how far apart.
Treatments are described for a fictional studio. A licensed provider determines whether a treatment is right for you at the consultation. Nothing on this site is medical advice.

How many microneedling sessions will I need?
Your provider recommends a number at your Skin Consultation. Many plans at Luna include three sessions, four to six weeks apart.
Does microneedling hurt?
A numbing cream is applied first, and most clients describe it as a light scratching feeling. Your provider will talk you through it beforehand.
When can I wear makeup again?
Your provider gives you written aftercare with timings. Most clients wait until the next day.
