Do you charge for estimates or consultations?
The phone call and the first in-home consultation are free. Detailed design and pricing is a design agreement, from $2,500 for a bathroom and $4,500 for a kitchen, credited in full to your construction contract when you build with us.
What areas do you serve?
Alder Falls and nearby neighborhoods: Old Mill District, Juniper Heights, Wren Hollow, Cedar Terrace, Marren Lake, Stonebridge, Orchard Row and North Fairmount. For larger projects just outside that list, send the request and we will let you know.
What do your projects typically cost?
Kitchens start at $45,000 and most land between $65,000 and $140,000. Bathrooms start at $25,000; primary baths usually run $45,000 to $90,000. Basements start at $50,000, additions at $120,000 and whole home remodels at $150,000. Your estimate request gives you a rough planning range right away, and the design phase turns it into a fixed price.
Do you work on older homes?
Most of our projects are in homes built before 1960, many before 1930. We plan for plaster walls, older wiring and out-of-level floors, and the rough planning range adds an allowance for homes built before 1940.
