How long it usually takes

2 to 4 months from the first design meeting to a finished bathroom, including 4 to 7 weeks of construction. Permits and custom orders are the usual reasons a schedule moves, and we tell you as soon as we know.

Where the money goes

    Tub or shower

    Most primary baths trade the tub for a larger shower. If you keep a tub, a freestanding one by a window is often worth the space.

  • 2

    Curbless showers

    No step at all takes a recessed floor. In many houses we can do it for $4,000 to $8,000 more; we check the framing at the consultation.

  • 3

    Moving plumbing

    Keeping the toilet and drains in place saves money. Moving them is possible on most floors and runs $4,000 to $9,000.

How long does a bathroom remodel take?

Most bathrooms take 2 to 4 months from the first design meeting, including 4 to 7 weeks of construction. Tile and waterproofing take the longest, and we will not rush curing times.

What do your projects typically cost?

Kitchens start at $45,000 and most land between $65,000 and $140,000. Bathrooms start at $25,000; primary baths usually run $45,000 to $90,000. Basements start at $50,000, additions at $120,000 and whole home remodels at $150,000. Your estimate request gives you a rough planning range right away, and the design phase turns it into a fixed price.

Do you offer a warranty?

Every project comes with a two-year workmanship warranty, plus the manufacturer warranties on cabinets, fixtures and appliances, all listed in your project binder.
