Privacy

The form on the Start a project page asks for your name, business name, industry, what you need, business size and email, and optionally your website, current software, phone number and a message. It is sent to us by email, delivered through our email provider (Resend). We use it only to reply to you and to work out how we can help. We do not sell it, share it with sponsors or partners for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

We keep inquiries in our inbox only for as long as we are working with you. Ask us at any time and we will delete yours.

Everything you enter in the interactive demos (bookings, quotes, portal and dashboard changes, chat messages) is saved only in your own browser, so the demo remembers it on your device. Some demo actions are checked by our server to work out prices or availability, and nothing you enter in a demo is saved on our servers. The Reset demo button, or clearing your browser's site data, removes it.

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site: the pages viewed, how you arrived, your approximate location (country and city), your device and browser, and whether an inquiry was sent (recorded with the industry only, never your contact details). It uses first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_LLXF748V3Q, which last up to two years. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses, and we have not turned on advertising features.

Google explains how it uses this information in How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser and the page requested) for security and reliability. To stop abuse, our server briefly holds your IP address in memory to limit how often the contact form can be sent; it is not written to storage. This site sets no advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you, by writing to hello@rootandrun.org. We do not sell or share personal information. This site does not respond differently to Do Not Track signals.

This site is for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
